  1. How do I know if Impact Learning courses are approved for Continuing Education credit in my field?

When you view the seminar details page, all credit reporting organizations who have approved the course for CME, CEU, CLE or any type of credit in your field will be displayed at the top of the page. If you need to report credit to an organization that you do not see on the Impact Learning site, please call an Impact Learning representative at 866-702-3278 (Ext 1) to find out why. In some cases, we may be able to have the course in question approved by your credit reporting organization.

  2. My license number is missing in your records for my Credit Reporting Organization, how do I update my license number?

After logging in go to the ACCOUNT DETAILS page, scroll to the bottom, where you will see "Edit My Credit Reporting Organizations."

  3. Do I receive printed materials with my CD-ROM or Audio CD?

In most cases, all materials are in electronic format (HTML or PDF) on your CD-ROM. Customers who order Audio seminars with associated papers will receive a supplemental Materials CD-ROM.

A few providers have chosen to offer printed materials as an option, in addition to the electronic materials that are included. When printed materials are ordered, overnight shipping is not available, and your shipment will come directly from the provider of the seminar.

  4. I am a member. Why am I seeing non-member prices?

For some reason, our system does not have your membership in our records. Because some of our providers offer members-only seminars, we do not allow you to add membership through the edit-account page. To have your membership verified and added, please contact us here.

  5. Why does the audio volume fluctuate on some of my videos?

Usually, this occurs because the speaker moves away from the microphone or puts the microphone down. Sometimes audio may be soft because a member of the live audience was asking a question away from a microphone. Speaker's are instructed to repeat questions from the audience for the recording.

  6. Does the Impact CD-ROM work with Macs?

The CD-ROM version of the Impact viewer is only designed and tested for Windows based PCs. Macintosh users should use the online Streaming versions of all seminars.

  7. Why doesn't my audio CD not play in my older Compact Disc player?

Some of our audio seminars are delivered on CD-Recordable technology. Certain car CD players and older home CD players will not recognize this CD format. If you have this problem, try the CD in a different CD player. our CDs are guaranteed to work in 96% of CD players used by consumers today.

  8. I have an older version of the CD-ROM program, how do I access the papers written by the speakers?

Papers can be found in \Papers folder on your CD-ROM drive. To access this folder, go to My Computer, right click on your CD drive, select Explore. You will see the papers folder, and you can access the papers written by the speakers, shown in PDF format.

  9. I would rather use my own viewing program (Windows Media Player or Real Player) to view the seminar videos, can do I do this?

Videos can be found in \Videos folder on your CD-ROM drive. To access this folder, go to My Computer, right click on your CD drive, select Explore. You will see the Videos folder, and you can access the videos from this location. Note: If you do not already have the DivX video driver installed on your computer, you will need to run the video-installer file also found on the CD-ROM.

  10. The speaker keeps referring to his/her written materials... Why didn't I receive printed materials with my CD-ROM or Audio CD?

Most speakers provide Impact with electronic versions of their materials that are included on the CD-ROM. Click on the MATERIALS tab and you will see this video. If the program tells you that materials are not available for a certain topic, this means the speaker did not provide Impact with their materials.

  11. Do you offer subscriptions to my provider's seminars?

Yes! Subscriptions are available that can save up to 75% of the normal cost for purchasing seminars individually. To order your subscription today, call 1-866-702-3278.
